Édouard Confuron

Édouard Confuron, the son of François Confuron-Gindre, is currently taking over at the family estate in Vosne-Romanée, Domaine Confuron-Gindre, while also taking the leap to start his own domaine.

Over time he has been able to implement qualitative evolutions in the vineyard and winery that bring some extra finesse into the wines, yet he still remains respectful of his family’s traditions. His new domaine is his chance to create wines of his very own character and speak to the terroir in a new style that represent his well learned skills along with new age developments.

Vines & Wine

• His wines are made in a small cuverie down on the old RN74

• Uses more whole bunches than in the family range

• Vinifies whole bunch cuvées without sulphur, only adding it at the end
