Alex is as close as you’ll get to a true bon vivant! Hailing from the sacred soils of the Côte D’Or, France, and the son of fifth generation Burgundian winemakers, he holds a Masters in Wine Marketing and Management from the Bordeaux Wine Institute. He’s sold and sampled wine in a career spanning from Shanghai to Napa, Meursault to Melbourne. Le Club springs from the success of his highly regarded business, Clos Cachet, supplying Australia’s fine dining scene with the very same wines you can now access with a Le Club subscription. Alex is proud to share his passion for French wine with everyone, and now Le Club brings it direct to your doorstep.

Jess was driven from an early age by a steely determination to become a fluent French speaker. She moved to France in 2010 to fulfil her dream of living and breathing French culture and obtaining linguistic mastery. In the wine mecca of Bordeaux, Jess met her French beau, Alexandre. They are now proud parents of bilingual daughters and she brings a strong family focus to Le Club. She also has a passion for the environment which is manifested in the company’s dedication to zero carbon delivery and eco friendly packaging.

Tristan Vinson

La barbe biodynamique / The organic beard

Tristan comes to Le Club with one of the best palates (and beards) in the business. Born and raised in Townsville, Tristan made his name in the big city working for hospitality icons Bar Nonno, Cumulus, St Crispin and Broadsheet Kitchen. He’s worked with and designed wine lists for culinary powerhouses Andrew McConnell and Scott Pickett and champions all the things we love most at Le Club: biodynamic, Burgundy and breaking down barriers. More than just a great nose, he’s a great guy!
